The facility incorporates segregated, controlled environments specifically designed for cell and viral vector manufacturing to support Phase I/II clinical trials. UC Irvine MATRIX provides best-in-class cGMP services including development of cGMP compliant processes and methods, manufacturing of cell and viral vector-based therapies, and release testing intended for early phase clinical trials.
Our facility provides advanced infrastructure and strict contamination controls. The operation is staffed by highly trained personnel and features a dedicated development area alongside seven ISO Class 7 manufacturing suites, each utilizing an independent HVAC system.
